LEGAL JARGON

All bookings are made with Holding Space Australia ("HSA") (ABN: 47 760 079 207). The use of the terms "us","we" and "our" refer to and mean HSA.  The terms "trip" and "tour" refer to any booking agreement made, and service provided by HSA.

Deposit requirement

​

 You will be required to pay a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 35 days prior to the scheduled departure date. If the booking is made within 35 days of the departure date, then a full payment is required.

Payment Plan

​

In the case of making a booking through a payment plan the deposit amount required is 25%. The full payment and/or recurring payments required will be subject to that specific payment plan its individual requirements. Those individual requirements will be found on the payment plan that you have chosen at the time of booking. 

Acceptance of booking

​ If we accept your booking, we will issue a confirmation invoice. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice or if you book within 30 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept your payment. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments

Cancellation by you

If you have to cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply.

• If you cancel 30 days or more prior to the intended departure date, you will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable booking deposit.

• between 29 and 11 days you will receive a 50% refund of the total booking cost .

• within 10 days of the intended departure date, no refund will be given.

Cancellation by us

If Holding Space Australia is forced to cancel a trip in circumstances where a cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

COVID-19 Cancellations

If COVID-19 border restrictions or quarantine laws are implemented that affect your travels and you need to cancel a trip, you will receive:

A full refund minus any unrecoverable costs if cancelled more than 5 days prior to the trip’s commencement, or 50% refund of the total trip cost if cancelled less than 5 days prior to the trip’s commencement.

Booking Amendments

Once the booking has been finalised and the deposit has been received, any changes or alterations of any kind that are requested by the person/s who have secured the booking will incur an administration fee of $150. This fee is in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators or airlines. No amendments are permitted to your booking within 21 days of departure.

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the cost of your booking. It is recommended that you obtain personal travel insurance as HSA is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, sickness or injury whilst on a tour.

Authority on tour

​

All trips will be run by a group leader. All decisions that are made by the group leader are final on all matters regarding the safety on any staff or participant of the tour. If you fail to comply, you may be refused no further onward travel with no right of refund. You must at all times comply with all Australian laws and customs.

Photos and marketing

​

Throughout the trip there may be photos, videos and sound recordings taken. These may be used for future promotion and marketing in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to take part, please let HSA know prior to the commencement of the trip. All photos, videos and sounds recordings will not contain anyone under the age of 18.
